Steel plate under the arial mounting with an earth strap to chassis.

will you be able to hear the radio? ive got one in mine. the only thing its doing is adding extra weight as i cant hear it gerth

Fitting Disco Speakers in back, So should be able to hear, If that don't work, Will fit Power Amp, Nar Nar MINE'S going to be better then yours GARETH ;D ;D ;D

Seem's like we've been working on this car for year's BUT the good news is wiring loom is in and wired up, Just waiting new switch's to arrive from dealer, Also AERIAL, then we give it New M.O.T, And we're off to the SHOW'S ;D ;D

This is taking longer then we though, All wiring done,But the Hazards, AND THIS IS WHERE WE'RE STUCK, Once we can get that sorted, We can get it M.O.T, The other thing is very busy with work at moment, so car stays in garage, For a while till got a bit of time to try sorting, Boy has this car been a B*******r, ANYBODY know the WIRING setup for the hazard switch?

Got this E-Mail from mate who is doing my car up for me,
Hi Chucks Can you let me have copy of your log book and or old MOT ticket if possible as soon ready for MOT' Still having problems with hazards BUT now found somebody who knows the wiring. Waiting for a wheel bolt EVERTHING ELSE DONE
So this is GREAT NEWS
Looks like we will be driving it to STONELEIGH

GREAT NEWS ****PASSED MOT******* Fault's still with it
(1) no oil pressure working
(2) no petrol gage working
(3) no speedo working
(4) boiling/heating up

Now trying to sort Speedo out, As not happy with Magnetic speedo, So trying to fit speedo clock with cable, Anyone else done this sort of thing, Engine is 1600cc Crossflow with four speed gearbox

I believe accuracy of speedo will depend on speedo cog in gearbox. Ford fitted about 4 different ones depending on diff ratio/tyre size. You may need a right angled adaptor (Europa spares) to avoid a tight curve on the speedo cable as it comes out from the gearbox. The cable will break very quickly if the radius is 4 ins or less.
