And, "If it don't fit don't hit it, find out why" (wise words from my apprentice master a Looong time ago). Are you going to fit a steel cross brace, as should already be there?

Dare I say it, I'd suggest the Dutton Owners Club as it is basically the same as a Phaeton. Just checked on their site and found this Electrics Lightning Looms 12a Lythall Close, Radford Semele, Leamington Spa, CV31 1UG Tel no: 01926 424323, email: sales@bright6.co.uk, ian@lightninglooms.freeserve.co.uk www.lightninglooms.co.uk These guys design, build and install wiring looms and dashboards for kit cars. They go to the customer's house, measure up FOC, and build a loom to an exact spec. They will also fit it if required. They can also tackle most electrical problems that folks face. Lightning Looms LTD, manufacturers of the Bright6 Warning Light Module, have now acquired their own workshop and can design and install custom made harnesses. We can also put right any electrical problems your members may have. We offer a collection and return service if the vehicle is not roadworthy. DOC members get a 10% discount of a harness design and installation when mentioning this advert.
DOC member recommended: "Ian Grant is the front man and I confess that I struggle to see how he does it for the money. I had a complete bespoke loom with a dash rewire for a couple of hundred quid and have eliminated every electrical gremlin my car had in one go. I would thoroughly recommend him and know he travels UK wide." Sounds like the way to go

Hi Roy,
There is a mobile auto electrician in Peterborough. I think he has a card up in my local post office. I will try to walk down there monday and have a look for the number for you.

Do you not see the DoE adverts, they don't need to "catch" you any more, it's all done by computer and that' linked to the DVLA, Police and social services.
