Bugger it, don't bother with the insurance and if anyone looks like they are hurt and might claim, stick 'em in the back of a van and take 'em away! Added ..... , too much caffeine first thing

It's not a matter of bothering or not, we just don't have 150 quid spare and if we did there are a few things that get priority, like paying for the web site etc. I agree that having TP insurance is asking for a claim, such are the times we live in, I remember when I was racing the circuit owners and event organizers made us sign a disclaimer so If we smashed into the armco or tripped over a spanner it was our own fault for being there basically, we could do the same but with a publicly displayed notice to the effect, "enter at your own risk".

Yep, I think an 'ENTER AT OWN RISK' notice could be displayed. I should put one on my garage too! 'ANY ONE ENTERING MAY BE MADE TO WORK'. That way, I might be able to bring the RV to stoneleigh

We need less talkers and more doers on this board?
Who has done anything about getting the banners of Bob?
Who has done anything about actually ordering new Banners?
Who has done anything about insurance?
That will be just Peter then!
Come on fellas...

I think that Jason and I have got the banners and a flag covered (Simon to souce), so anyone else send it to Steve in Churchdown (address as on membership form) to go towards the new gazebo he is charge of sourcing.

Jason, Check with Simon on the banner thing as he was going to contact the original supplier for a quote, he said the last (Bob's) was 65 pounds, anyone should be able to knock up one in a couple of days so no rush for a couple of weeks but lets ALL agree on the design first this time eh! . I will also check to see if I can get stuff done here to bring over as we have a LOT of people producing stuff for the property market along the coasts.

O.K. Listen up. I have spoken to Rodger at Grosvener Exibitions and they have everyone covered on a show wide cover so no need for us to buy any TP insurance, he had no idea where this rumour came from but it's a load of B****ks. Also we are more than welcome to put our tents, cars, etc on our area (54b) along with Bar-B-qs etc. Peter

Hi Gareth, Simon is actually quite sweet in a tent. He will hold your hand & stroke your hair until you fall asleep - cute huh? Anyway, if that is not for you, I can bring 2 tents. You will be fine........as long as there is someone to help put them up (JonL - I love you ) & I baggs the one that doesn't leak

I am doing it Simon............did say I would! It is awkward to contact the guy, but he is in the process of!! He has come up with a first draft, which I imagine (hope) you have received. Just let me know & stop fussing. We have a while yet. Have a little faith in other people. I can't believe you think I would let you down on this. Crikey

I will bring food for me!! So get your own! You know I like to eat a lot. If I remember correctly, there is a bar on site and a band on in the evening. At Donnington we ran out of beer! Has anyone got room to bring a BBQ? I hope to be there for dinner Sunday Evening. But I will be coming down from a wedding Bolton and will be hungover!
