If it's an Eagle then it's welcome, even a Henderson, (is there still one out there ) You never know I might even get to fly over again, My SS will not be up to it yet as I have blown my time table by fitting a load of stuff I hadn't planed for and I'm doing complete interior now rather than tarting up the old one but I will try to get over in it this year.

Linda, Yes I'm sure the SS will enjoy the scenery! (girls! ) No the wife will not be joining me, at least not until nipper number two is born and nipper number one finishes nursery, so I should get a few evening and weekends to actually do some work on the SS! Anything is possible I suppose!

On behalf of the RV owners, I will be there in one capacity or another. If the RV is ready then I'll bring that or it will be another outing for the GTM. Maybe if the RV is not ready, I'll bring the grill or something! ;D

Good Luck at the show folks,
I have just been reminded that I will be in a five start hotel in Bolton for my friends wedding that weekend.
If we can get away on the Sunday morning I may join you sunday afternoon and monday.
The problem is that this show means you need 2 months of tax - April and May :-(

As long as you drop the ss off at the show - you were the one that wanted 25 cars. I don't mind driving it back for you

i think this year we should promote the web site at the shows,, why? cus the more people that want an eagle , the more they are worth,, as the old banner is keeping the rain off an rv,, can we find the price for a new banner ,, i am prepared to pay a chunk for it, (anyone else???) also if you cant bring your car then can you do a little collection of pics on a board and stake it into the ground with a little write up about the restoration/build for people to see,, it all helps,,

I think a clue to the price of a banner would be helpful perhaps. Also I think that it is wicked that you would like some pics of my car on a board etc, for the stand . You never know - someone may offer to restore it for me ;D ;D

Didn't we have this conversation recently? Banner would be about £150 (theres a place where you can arrange them online for about £170). I think it is a great idea (as I suggested it a few weeks back ) and I too would be happy to chip in towards it if the club funds don't stretch that far. Looks increasingly unlikely that my RV will be ready by end of April (too much work and not enough play for me ) but I had already thought to bring some bits and maybe a bit of a display just to make up numbers. Cheers all

Just to give an idea off the web, Would we have to calculate according to the maximum number attending Stoneleigh and therefore potential attendance at our stand or only the minimum as would attend our stand in reality? Not sure but I think that if the stand is 100% roped of and a disclaimer is posted at the public entrance to the effect that they enter the area entirly at their own risk we would be covered.

if you have public liability insurance, it is not a good idea to advertise the fact,, as we will be inviting people that are looking to earn a few quid easily by tripping over a rope etc,,
just a thought,,
