You had your chance. Yes I'm back and refreshed. 4 days drinking myself into a stupor to give me a purpose to keep working so I can do it all again next year. See I have so little time for most things that I have to do all my yearly drinking in one four day session, what away to go though, literally bucket loads of beer, god knows what I've eaten (one meal was a McDonald's at 3am, I do remember that), insulted a fair few people I only just got to know, met friends for the fourth year running at the same place without any organisation at all and made a load of new friends from the USA, Brazil (now they were errrr no I'll stop there) Austria, Scotland (all wearing kilts) and more from Italy as well as two more Germans.
And best of all I didn't get thrown out of anywhere, asked to leave one place isn't the same thing as getting bounced honest. ;D
If you have never been to the Oktoberfest I highly recommend you have at least one visit, 10,000 people in one tent all having fun and safe (there is something in the order of 20 tents or there abouts each holding an average of 7500 people plus more outside in beer gardens) plus a huge fair ground for those that want to see who can hold all the beer down. Only on for two and a half weeks a year but one statistic is that in that time 6,000,000 litres of beer is consumed (well sold anyway as some never get drunk just spilt on the floor when the umpha bands give it large).
Brilliant roll on next year. ;D
