Merry Crimble to all, and a very happy New Year.
2007 should be a vintage year for the marque and the club with some very active new members and especially Tim and TEAC with the SS and RV rescues.
Chris.

Seasons Greetings from Admirals Marsh.
Let's have some great turn-outs for the shows this year! They are the lifeblood of the club and the spawning ground of future kit car builders.
Chaz.

Yeah. Merry Christmas everyone I so love Christmas. I think it stems from my childhood when my parents always strived to make Christmas magical for me & my brother. Was well good in our house at Christmas. We woke up at 4am to find a massive pillow case of pressies at the end of the bed, which we then quietly opened. my parents weren't so cool about this. my mum used to come upatairs & ask why the hell it sounded like a herd of buffalo were charging around above their heads. I think she was just jealous santa never left her a sack. In the morning we had more pressies under the tree. Once or twice the dog opened them before we got there. Sometimes it pulled the Christmas tree down also, in its efforts to reach the chocolate decorations. That used to make dad a bit cross sometimes. Then, in the afternoon, Father Christmas came round!! Yes - really he did . My parents used to get the local paedoplile to come round, dressed as santa, on Christmas afternoon. He came over, with his bulging sac (of presents) & me & my brother took turns to sit on his knee while he gave the presents out. He probably looked forward to it all year ;D. We were even allowed to have things like grapes & lemonade in the house - they were too expensive apart from at Christmas. & my mum use to have one glass of wine with her Christmas lunch & then start giggling & tell everyone how drunk she was . I guess that is slightly better than the time we were in a restaurant &, after a glass of wine, she asked me, in an incredibly loud stage whisper, whether I thought the people on the next table were Jewish cos they had incredible large noses. Was ok tho, cos she waved & smiled at them as she said it ;D

Oh, Linda! you made me all weepy as I remembered the huge christmas we used to have as kids when the whole extended family would decend on Nan and Grandad's house and have a old fashioned christmas around a roaring fire. Just come back from "opperation last minuet"on the Suzuki and bugger me all the shops were shut! So I cannot buy myself the new 6.5" front, three way, speakers I need and play with them on boxing day, just a new David Bismal CD for SWMBO. As our head office has not sent us any money since end of October you can see the kinda christmas we are having but we are making the most of it and having TWO, Scananavian tonight, English tomorrow with roast beef and Spanish on the 6th with "the three Kings".
Bless you all and have a good one. Peter & Anette XXXXXXX

Thank you Peter, after Simon was so horrid & sarcastic to me . Funny how Christmas past is so cool. Just spoke to my mum on the phone. Neither me or my brother has had the best year ever & I think she wants to make sure our Christmas is one to remember. Apparently we are going to have a game of tennis after Christmas lunch - like you do. In fact she made it sound as though we would be fighting for a court at the local club .
