Well, yet another of my well planned events this year looking like it is going to the dogs.
I've been informed that I have to attend a family 80th celebration - attendance not optional - and that rules out my Sunday at the show.
It is then looking possible that I will need to work on the Monday due to other staff members holidays having been changed at the last minute. I'm still working on that one.
My question to any attendees - is anyone passing by Oxford between now and then and would collect a box of magazines to give out to club members and other interested parties?
Answers on a postcard.

It's possible Don, but just thought I'd ask if anyone was this way. I'm hoping to head up to Sutton Coldfield this Saturday, so might be able to drop them on the way there or back. If no-one shows up I'll post them to Helen and Gary (if that's OK guys) or any alternative suggestions. This is just one of a series of changed plans so far this year, including some biggies like..... - a friend booking a Silverstone visit and paying for it for me only for me to find out it was booked for the day of my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary.
- the rescheduled staff members holiday that may cause me to miss Monday has also resulted in me losing a weekend off the following week when I have paid for a three night hotel break with a load of 'like-minded' bikers for our annual club event.
Not even able to go to LeMans this year due to other peoples plans.......................I hope they don't cancel Christmas!

that you are unable to make the show, I you need to post the magazines up let me have a receipt and the club will refund the postage. Also if you do post them can you let me know when they are likely to arrive as the postman here doesn't leave anything without someone being here. Scorpio, I need to speak to you. When is a convienient time to call? Helen

Looks a bit sad, guys.
A bit of a series of unfortunate events, what with my circumstances, garys accident and the weather!
Did it cheer up at all during the day?

I arrived on Sunday it was a good event and a far larger show then I ever expected. Great to see all the other cars and able to pick up some bits and bobs required. I was really looking forward to seeing an Eagle SS up close and personal so I could see how this and that went, but alas not one in site. Although I did meet a nice couple of chaps at the Eagle pitch. Are any Eagle SS owners going to the Newark kit car show
