Not a kit car event but I thought I'd mention it.

I went for the weekend last year and it was a great event.
Loads of real racing, no-one was hanging around and the classic cars and bikes are so much fun to see sliding around the track.
The weather was kind and we got to sit out in the open air bar and listen to the live band in the evening and there is a good campsite nearby.
Worth a look if you enjoy cars (loads of club displays and stalls etc) and cheap too............£40 for the whole weekend (£35 if you book in advance) including grandstand access all round the track.
