Bedtime reading
I have for some time thought about writing various 'well' interesting moments that I have come across during my 40 years doing breakdowns etc
If I do them
1 are they going to be classified as nothing to do with Eagle or.
2 classified as silly and waste of time as 'word game' and
3 would members actually want to read them
obviously a lot of typing is required so maybe 1 a week 'ish'
ANY THOUGHTS or comments Please

I say go for it. It shows that someone is using the board and that others will read it. You can always monitor the number of times a post has been read and you never know it might produce some constructive posting.

Great, excellent. How about posting (emailing) them to me and i'll do 'em in the magazine (if it ever gets going).
This is something I want to do anyway and issue one is pretty much done with some spaces for just this kind of thing.

A Forum is defined as a place for general discussion. If we limited posts to Eagle Only topics, This would be a VERY quite place! So as far as I see it anything that is of interest to those on the forum. Is fine by me

I look forward to reading them. I also look forward to receiving the new mag I think it is what the club needs a it should reach the club members who do not DO COMPUTERS who knows it may bring some of them on to the forum. Some thing to discuss at AGM ? or is it something that could be started sooner ? Will it be a paper mag or a blog type thing ?(i personally like the idea of the paper thing as it is more personal). So many questions. New discussion me thinks

I like the mag dropping through the letterbox -- makes you feel part of something.
it is very hard to keep a mag alive - EVERYONE - needs to give input, one person will struggle for material
I know I have been there many, many times.
SO David how can WE ALL help you

Well, I've got a draft of a magazine already.
If the numbers aren't too excessive, i've got a colour laser double sided printer that can more than cope and I have bought a stapler to connect the whole thing together.
I would expect it to be a growing item really, with perhaps a single feature to begin with, maybe some tips and tricks within the pages, maybe a permanent column from one or two 'guest writers' which may be kitcar related but not necessarily even car stuff, just interesting to read.
I did think about a buy and sell page but think this is unlikely to work because of the inevitable time delays. The forum would be quicker, but I'm open to suggestions (or is that offers?)
