As ever for this period of kitcar, the problem lies in the detailing.
A decent set of lights front and rear and this would have made a much more impressive car.
I wonder if they ever sold any?

& what is wrong with my lovely (if unfinished) Souxsie ;D ;D ;D To be honest a few years ago I owned the most gorgeous new MX5 & it was my pride & joy.............& I was scared to park it up incase it got damaged or keyed or something. I sold it to maximise the deposit I could put down on my house. Ask Terry, Chaz, Harry or anyone else who has been here about my home & then come back to me & tell me there are owners & dreamers

"Unfinished" explains it all MX5 good car, but still not a kit, and not an 'Eagle' I'd just thought that, especially as an ex-commit member, of the Eagle Kit Car Club, that you'd have a little more respect for Eagle members and there Eagle cars. Now I think thats enough said on this subject.

I would think everybody is entitled to there personal opinion whether ex commitee or not. Personally im not keen on the P21 either but I can still respect the engineering and effort involved in building one.

To be honest (again ), I have never had any interest in owning a kit car of any kind - Eagle or otherwise. I was only on the committee to do a few friends a favour &, whilst I was on the committee I did what I was supposed to do. I didn't commit to love all the cars. I'm no longer on the committee, so I can't see the relevance of that at all. I have remained on the message board to support the club. I am entitled to my own opinion & to express it. I'm if you are offended by that. Everyone on this site has laughed at my Suzuki - understandably so . So what? I don't care - it was my personal choice & only I have to be happy with that. People stare at my XR2 in disbelief as the mud covered thing rattles by them.........so what? My choice. As long as you love your p21 then that is all that matters. I do agree with Steve's comment that the work & effort that goes into a kit car of any kind deserves to be respected & the beauty of a kit car is that you can make it what you personally choose. What could be better & more satisfying than that? Please don't tell me when to express an opinion & when not to.

ooooh don't people get tetchy now and then. The only thing with a message board is that you have no idea as to the writers inflection as you would if you were talking to them in person. All this about "ugly" would pale into insignificance if it was a discussion in a pub. As the only people who can read these messages are those that are registered I don't see how it could bring the club into disrepute and as the comments were general and not aimed at one individuals car the same applies. You had this happen last year when some one posted about "unfinished cars" and all hell broke loose, don't do it again. Now ALL and make up or this site will die due to lack of interest. Oh just my two penneth worth, like it or not. If anyone wants to ban me for my observations then so be it.
