thats an awful lot of money for something thats incorrectly registered and hasent been on the road for 27 years, £500 on a good day maybe, going to be for sale for a while me thinks, but hey be optimistic

Well, as the saying goes: He has 2 chances, slim and none, and slim it out of town!! He doesn't even know what it is. I also loved the part where he says all complete except body mounts. That is estate agent speak for "It's a body sitting on a chassis it doesn't fit" :-)

He either knows exactly what he has and is just trying to get an inflated price, or he is living proof that ignorance is bliss :-)
