A Ford Cortina / Siera with front mounted ford engine from 1600 cc to 2300 / 2600 V6 A Range Rover chassis with R.V. body fitted and various engines. A Discovery chassis with shortend body
Which one do you have.
Ordinary Ford cortina straight 4's 1600 / 2000 don't have power steering and are the most common.
Regards Graham.

Thank you for your reply (I'm now a member) The steering linkage that I have removed is 'straining' at the flexible joint due to the geometry. Can I have a couple of photos of yours please? In addition, could I see your engine mountings?

I'll also hopefully be bringing my RV to the Malvern show in June on the Saturday.

I hope that you can gain something from them. Was there talk on this forum of making a new category for technical support or is there an existing depository for photographs such as these? In the meantime, the photographs are at: photos.app.goo.gl/ugpisSgedEt6YqyK9 The blue cylinder is the power steering fluid reservoir. The engine mounts are one at each side and one behind the gearbox ( as far as I can see! ). Where are you located? You are welcome to see the setup on my car if not too far away - I am in north west London, close to the bottom of the M1. - the link doesn't seem to work from this forum posting. If you send me your email address I'll put the link into an email. It will definitely work from an email. My email address is: eagle@davedale.co.uk. Also, I just discovered that it works if you copy and paste the link into the Chrome browser address bar. If you don't have luck with this you can email me.
