Hi all, At the moment I have a Jago Jeep but I'm looking to buy an Eagle rv soon. I'm based in Bedworth, Warwickshire.

Hi Buster, have you found one yet? Are you looking for a finished one or a project? A few have been for sale lately on other sites. I'm sure it's an upgrade from the smaller Jago, 😅😅 although unfortunately there is much more activity on the Jago forum than the Eagle forum, but hopefully new members will keep us going. Regards Pedro

I'd prefer a finished , on the road , tax & mot exempt Eagle, I've got a chance of buying one , but not sure at the moment what's happening. What do you have as a project.

That's lucky if you can find a tax and MOT exempt one already on the road as they are rare, I have 3 at the moment all projects tho lol. I'm not doing anything too fancy with them, I had the chassis and all other parts sand blasted, just in the putting back together stage. I'm putting diesel engines in them, decent wheels ect. I'm always on the look out for parts to improve them, doors roof etc. What is the one you found? Do you have a price yet? There is one in eBay at the moment, not too cheap tho, but looks a decent project.

The one I might be looking at is a 2.3 automatic, tax and mot exempt on an age related plate. Haven't heard back from owner as yet. Not sure on how much to offer till I have a good look at it. There doesn't seem much activity on this forum and I've tried to join the Facebook forum but still waiting for a reply /acceptance.

That sounds ideal, I hope you get it for a nice price. Yes the forum is quiet, so is the FB page, but someone usually answers any queries you might have. I'm sure Peter will accept you as soon as he see's your FB request.
I think there are many more Jago's around than Eagles, (hence the lower activity here) but it's surprising where they all keep coming from, too many seem to have been shelved for many years
