This is a bit of a long shot but does anyone know about radiator blinds, please. I would like to be prepared for next winter and find a supplier of a radiator blind which would fit my RV. I could make one ( done it many times for other cars ) but I fancy a proper fabric one which would look good on my RV, preferably a roll-up type.

I can't find a custom manufactuer, and it may have to be custom made due to the height of the slats.
I don't think english weather would warrant a radiator blind. Engine wont pass it's water to the rad until operting temperature, of 85 / 90 degrees. Don't install a blind unless you have a temperature guage, and plan on using car for prelonged periods of time in below 32-F / 0-C freezing weather.
Minus 2-3 C is acceptable.
Try to google jeep cj-7 blinds as the grille is identical to the R.V.( apparently ).
Better to have a cooler engine than a seized overheated engine. i had a seized engine due to a blocked radiator, and doing 70mph down the motorway for 70 miles saw the temp' slowly rise, engine loose power and I got to the show with engine just about running, but 4 hours later, it had seized, would not turn over.
So if you are going to fit a blind, make sure you have a new radiator, thermostat and water pump, and not the original 23 year old rad' etc. ( flushing does not get the rusted on steel off the rad cores )
My car was only 15 years old and the rad' got blocked eventually.

Thanks for the advice Graham, with which I fully agree. I do have a reconditioned radiator, new water pump, a new ( tested for accuracy ) thermostat and an accurate temperature gauge. I have used a radiator blind on cars previously, and currently do so on my Riley 1.5, with care and with success. I am aware of the damage caused to an engine if frequently starting from cold especially as my Riley is my daily car in winter as well as summer. The RV is only just on the road for the first time in my ownership so I shall run it this coming winter before before deciding if it would benefit from a radiator blind.
