Hi all, I have having trouble with locating the vin on my Eagle, any idea where it is stamped on the chassis?

Hi Andy,
I guess you mean a Ford based Eagle SS or RV, (same chassis).
it's on the left chassis facing the engine, just before the apex of the angle. There should be ust a plate pop rivited on there., not stamped.
Of course on the VW it is just in front of the gear shaft access panel.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for that. I have found it. Stamped on the front cross member between the suspension legs. I was at the MOT station at the time and the tester couldn’t find it so subsequently had to stop the test. Gutted. Rebooked for Saturday.

That was a bummer having to re do the test. I am redesigning the arm rear and centre part so the tester can see my VIN in front of the gear shift hatch. real pain he will not accept the riveted VIN plate.
