Hi Steve and welcome,
Another RV has surfaced, great, do you have a reg number for it or are you heading for the IVA?
Cortina parts are getting a bit rare and sometimes a visit to the Cortina forums can bring results or Ebay for bushes etc.
Hard tops are a weird thing, some time ago there were a couple going begging but now hens teeth but maybe someone will have a spare.
Al the best with the rebuild. please try and post some pictures, (vis photopbucket is a good way).

Hi Steve, Er,,, it's Peter by the way, I AM an Eagle addict though having had my SS since 1995, although its probably done as many miles on a trailer than it has under its own power as I dragged it down to Southern Spain in 1999. Your RV is not on the register, yet but it will be asap. colour and engine would be nice and location as it may be one of the ones listed without reg number. www.eagleownersclub.org.uk/REGISTER/Eagle%20registry%20for%20web.htmAs all the mechanical parts should be MkII to MkIV Cortina and usually with a 1600 or 2L Pinto and a 4 speed box it should be easy to get the bits. Trim, dash, seats, roof, doors, etc is entirely up to you. What engine and box is best left to what is on the V5c but you can fit what you like in that chassis by moving things about like engine mounts. We are migrating over to the euro-nova forum bit by bit so if you would like to apply on that Dan (bobbybtown) will see you in OK, there is a RV section. www.euro-nova.co.uk/vb/forum.php?styleid=1Old threads can be linked to from there to this so nothing will be lost, just no more new members after end of October, unless something happens to change that, like a flood of new posts from older members, yeah, right.
