Excellent! Well done that man. Keep the pictures coming. I'm in need of inspiration here. I've not opened the garage door for 6 weeks.

Great to see things moving on and the basics getting done first, looks like a perfectly satisfactory job, so often I see a lot of fiddling with accessories, trim and gadgets when there is basic stuff to be done first, (all mine IS done, now I can PLAY.)
Often you hear a task is so much inspiration and so much perspiration but I think we need a lot of MOTIVATION too, so easy to leave the car on the back burner while other things take our time and before you know where you are are, another 'unfinished project' for sale or I hear of a car that has been in a garage untouched for 8 years or more. Get those garage doors open and get on with it, not long before Stoneleigh will be coming around again, (we hope) and if WE do not get on with the cars they will not be there and the show could be under threat.

Glad you all approve. I was going to keep it white but decided to go for something different as you can tell.
It's not a bad paint job. Needs touching up in a few places. But it was never going to be perfect. It was done in a back garden effectively and haven't taken the window out etc.
Yes Pete I know waft you mean about basics. All my electrics are finished. Paint needs mopping, finish underneath, then changing things like brakes and bushes, seats then mot :-)

Oh and she was NEVER going to be an unfinished project. My time is limited so patience was a big thing this time around unlike my triumph I had before when I had plenty of free time

I see you have painted "Everything". The gear gaiter. handbrake gaiter, the popits for the soft top, and will be hard to push on those as it's got layers of paint on them, and you may find the paint lifts around the studs as it's hard to rubdown around those. ( Should have unscrewed them to paint the body.) Tut tut. Windscreen you can live with, but not the studs.
