Hard to say realy, I suppose condition has a lot to do with it. Also how much someone realy desires the car. Does it have doors, roof, has it been looked after or recently refurbed. When I sold my cortina based RV in 1990 I got £1800 for it, very few go for more than £500 - £1000. What chassis is it, the eagle one to take range rover bits or a body modified to fit a range rover or disco chassis, or perhaps daihatsu based. So if its tatty perhaps £500, mint up to £3000 . A very difficult question.

What ever you pay in the UK it will be a heck of a lot less than any other European country that's for sure. At the end of the day a car of any kind is worth what a buyer is willing to pay. Personally, knowing how few Eagle 4x4s are out there I would go for a CJ6, plenty about for under 5k. Are you really going to use it off road that much? A 2WD RV is still as much fun, even off road.

As much as I love 'em, I can't see anything on this planet that makes any Eagle RV worth £8k...

the nene overland eagle rv jeep has arches on the back that are the same shape as the arches that are on the front rather than round arches that are normaly on the back of eagle jeeps , and if you look closely the arches are quite a bit wider than the standard rv arch, at some point someone has done some serious redesign on an rv mould to pull that shell off , just wondered if it was possible to find out who built that jeep and if new rv shells like that one might possibly be available ?

Any chance of a link to this amazing Jeep?!
I suspect that the main body tub wasn't redesigned, so unlikely for there to be a modified Jeep mould out there. But I could be wrong, of course.
I suspect the builder either designed the rear arches from scratch and stuck them on, glassing them in, or else took moulds from an existing vehicle, cast the arches and then stuck 'em on. It doesn't make sense to produce a complete bodyshell mould with different arches.
If you really, really wanted to make rear arches like these (not that I've seem them yet), it shouldn't be too much of a problem, I wouldn't have thought.

the site to go to to see this eagle rv is the nene overland site, the jeep is listed as an eagle rv so easy to find, there are good pictures so easy to see that the arches have come from a modified mould and not stuck on afterwards.

so what do people think ? seems a bit of a puzzle , almost a next generation design eagle rv jeep , as i said would be really interesting to find out who built it and the story behind it, but i absolutely maintain that the 8k price tag is if nothing else fancyfull.

As far as I know the 'official' Eagle RV moulds went three ways after 1998, one set for the 'std' RV seems to have been lost to the bailiffs a few years back when Tim's business partner went tits up, about the same time the SS moulds disappeared to Wexford off of Ebay, The 4x4 RV was thought to have been lost to Pilgrim or Jordan, (no, not Katie Price), or at least all interest in it was. I think this one is a one off based on the later CJ7 design. maybe Rodger May still is in the game and still has the Range Rover moulds from 2004. "Due in" rather smacks of a production date. ?

Ah! Thanks Dazg and Gary.
Impressive beast all right. The rear arches look like exact copies of the fronts, so really a simple cloning job. It would be interesting to hear the tale of the builder right enough.
It's mighty impressive, but £8k? Phew...
