ive seen some really interesting eagle jeeps for sale in one place or another over the last few years , three daihatsu 4x4, three range rover 4x4 an assortment of ford rvs, yet the biggest kit show of the year for rvs seems to have been a wash out again, granted i was only at the show on the bank holiday sunday , and dont know what monday was like but just cant help wondering what has happened to some of these cars that i have seen for sale,

We had 2 on Monday:-). Mine is normally there, but couldn't get it running:-(, next yr it will be back :-)
We did 2 other 'owners' staying on the site, and Gary was just over the way on the Jago stand
Hopefully we'll see your next year?

sold my eagle jeep a few weeks before stoneleigh , with three young children a new house and loads of other jobs to do it became obvious the rv was going to be a long term on hold project, so made the hard decision to let it go to someone with more time to bring it back to roadworthy status and appearances at shows, im still a big fan of eagle rv jeeps though.

"So you want to build a kit car! was written with just that scenario in mind but of course it only applies in that respect to people who are thinking of getting a project not those who already had one. Always a shame when so called 'life' (sometimes read as 'wife') gets in the way of a man and his 'shed', the one thing that keeps me grounded at times of stress is the fact I can 'escape' to the shed and unwind, think of nothing else but what is in hand to do to on the car, best therapy I can think of, even when 'gone fishing' ones thoughts tend to be about what you are trying to escape from, but when working on the car I only have time to think about what I am doing. I would guess that a great many kits, of all makes, are really 'hobbies' (I know mine is), and maybe one day will see tarmac under their wheels (mine will, one day) but that is not the reason they are being worked on. rant over, off my soapbox and back to Stoneleigh

well after onwning it for 14 years sometimes youve just got to move on or as in this case move it on, i enjoyed owning and DRIVING it which seems to be unusual for eagle rv ownership but the last couple of years it got neglected, this was not my first eagle jeep and who knows maybe not my last, never say never or so they say.
