Good news, and lets hope we can get some Eagles on it this year, last year was embarrassing So come on' all, lets make that effort. I will not be there and I have 3,000 reasons, all kilometres, did it in 2006, and still paying for it.

Unfortunalely due to being in hospital and not being able to do any heavy work whatsoever for 4 months, I wont have the Eagle SS at Stoneleigh as I hoped.

DATES are May -- Sunday and Monday, 4th and 5th 2014
( can we please update the "Events" page as it has 2013 events still on. )

Ah!!
The photo of the black RV (Q978 JKO), was taken at Newark. Possibly 2004?
I know because it was mine. I recognise the seat covers and kiddies seat in the back, so the picture was definitely taken during my ownership. I wish I still had it. The one I have now is going to take a lot of work to make it as good as that one. It was a daily driver for 2 years and was 100% reliabe.
It's been on the DVLA data base as "Unlicensed" for the last 6 or 7 years, so I guess it no longer exists. What a waste!

Yes, that's a Honda 750 - 4 at the back. To be collected ( sold ) shortly for more than I paid for it but still needs bringing back to life, but as we all know, we just don't have time to do everything.

Well, the big question is WHO IS GOING TO STONELEIGH. Hardly a word has been said, (me included). I will be going with the RV on saturday mid afternoon and will be there till monday mid afternoon.
Anyone else going.

You are saying you will be there Saturday, but the Show is 2014

Keep in mind that according to the forum and the register there are currently only a handful of Eagles legally on the road and 3 of those are a long way away from Stoneleigh, so don't expect too many there. I think it will be a couple of years before we get a decent turnout again by which time will we still have a show to go to?.

I will be there, but sadly the 2.9 won't fire up, so the LR this year for me, but I will be there, will have to spend some time with the Spartan club too

, you are correct on the daye being Sunay and Monday but many people go up on Saturday just travel, set up a tent etc rather than do it all on a show day. There are facilities open ( food vans cafe etc). Me , my mate Lyndon, Eddie the eagle and Derrick go into Leamington spa on Sat night for a bit of a piss up and a curry and theres always a few still up on the site having a bit of a drink.

Ram if theres no one on the eagle pitch, Gary & Helen are opposite on the Jago pitch, they are also EOC commitee members, there were more cars on the pitch last year on sunday, mine was there all week end. But car attendances are pretty dismal. Some come and go, but when you look at other club pitches they seem well attended all weekend.
By the way your SS looks great, would love to see it there some day.

ULD 291R won't be there this year, I'm afraid, despite being 'legal' and used every day. It currently looks worse than when I bought it, having ripped the old dash completely out. And these thrumming side exhausts would be the end of me on a long trip.

Date of Liability 20 10 1987, is when the tax disc ran out. Applied for on 20/4/87
My date of Liability shows when I last taxed it, and confirmed by the tax disc in the window.
But, Stoneleigh 2 days away. ( Hope it does not rain - - But this is England, it rains ! )

I see the EOC flag and a yellow car on the EOC stand from the photo on the Nova stand but where are our photos, who got there?
I WILL be there next year, in diary in blood! just need to 600€ it's going to cost for a weekend.

Saw the Volksmagic Nova in satin black and I am now 90% sure that's what I going to have with the carbon fibre bonnet, boot etc.

Some very nice Novas and that Avante is stunning.

I got there on Sunday.
Met with Terry ( Terryrob ) and was offered a beer or tea at Eagle pitch, but declined.
Met briefly with Helen on the Jago stand too.

Photos ? Forgot my camera, ( left it in other car ) so no joy there.
Sunday there was Terry's RV, and the red RV had just arrived when I went back to see the Avante, which sounds just normal from it's Golf engine.
I always look to see if my old Nova is there, but when people respray / modify, you can never tell.
Saw the Avante drive off, then went for a burger AT £ 5 a go. Discusting price.

Thinking of going for 2 days next year with full camping equipment so can do my own burgers ! Will have both propane and butane, so hot burgers all round if any others turn up.
