Hi, i am struggling to fit some seats in. I want to use OEM from a car and preferably leather as i will get caught in the rain. I am using cortina seatbelts but struggling to fit the seats between the hardware... any suggestions?

Cool, thanks, I am looking at some focus st170 and bmw 3 series on ebay at the mo, but if they dont fit the bill or go to expensive  i will have a look for MX5's |

Have some Leather codworth seats in mine, v comfy, although a little high at the moment - need to trim the top hats down a bit (Well, quite a lot on the drivers side lol)

At least you have more scope on a RV compared to a SS where only have 47cm across the floor from tunnel to chassis

Try MGZR orZS seats...fit a treat and cheap as chips. £75 the pair...they are only half-leather though.

The ones I use (red/black) from MJ exhausts on Ebay are very reasonable sports recliners with runners and in various colours. all black would look cool in a RV.  |

 I never replied, thanks for that, in the end I decided I needed to save the money, so I took the Granada seats a part and re-welded the frames. I think that they look about right for the car and were the right price. One day when I am brave I might learn to reupholster and do these. |
