you will be wanting some jeep style wing mirrors, early land rover would be ideal, look at the gallerys and see what others have used, welcome aboard, are you coming to stonleigh ?

Welcome and congrats on buying the RV. Yes, the land rover mirrors look the best (in the opinion of most) and are quite jeepy. Ebay is a great place to find them, though they can be a bit expensive even on there. I did, however, eventually manage to find a left and a right on separate auctions for the grand total of £14 inc postage!!!! The dash is often the thing to let the kits down as money and enthusiasm runs out by then. All sorts of options here too from flat chunks of wood, through aluminium to transplanting whole dashboards from production cars. (Sierra in mine). Mine has new suspension front and rear as of today!!! Nice wheels by the way

hi thanks for that.we got a rickman ranger in garage and a spare Sierra dashboard complete with dials do you think this will fit the Eagle? we bought the Rickman but my partner has always wanted an Eagle RV so rickman is just very lonely now in the garage .so it will get sold off now.So all spare time, cash and energy is going on the Eagle.Have already sent off for decals for bonnet and chrome lettering.chrome valve covers to match the wheels which are chrome. thanks for your help this is a great site and obviously i'll be in touch with Linda reference joining Club.So hopefully we'll meet at Stoneleigh if my Sat Nav gets me there!

Hi, Hey it is cool you know me by my real name already (Linda ;D). Makes me feel almost famous! Yeah - do join. It will be great to have you on board. I was gonna ask you if that was the RV from Berkshire. Now I have seen the pic I suspect it might be . I don't wish to show any favoritism, but I really have a soft spot for the RVs - I think perhaps since I drove Jeffs at Donnington..........he has never let me drive it again . men are so horrid about women drivers . Do hope we will see you & the RV at Stoneleigh. It should be a fun night/weekend/show ;D

Tim and I will be 5 minuets down the road in a brick tent too, ;D same one the organisers are staying at it seems, I am arriving Sat afternoon and as soon as I have checked in I will be at the stand helping set up, on the stand all day Sunday, with quick excursions for shopping and food, drink, etc. and until about 15.00 on Monday as I have to fly back at 19.30 from Luton to the sun, I hope I can bring some with me for the show. I know what you mean about to old to camp Roy, last year I had to drive around the grounds for ages in the car with the heater at full belt on Sunday morning just to get warm enough to walk. This year I will have had half my bionic legs done, (due in surgery in a weeks time). might mean I walk about in circles though.
