hello all, I've had my RV for about 13 years and just getting around to it. the rear struts look wrong as they are not getting full travel also they curve abit i know there not ment to . has anyone got any suggestions thanks Shane

Best suggestion I can think of is to replace with standard Cortina dampers (shock absorbers if you prefer the terminology)

I replaced the coilovers on my RV with std Cortina dampers (£20 pair) much better now. Springs next, old RV ones are a bit soft.

I would be inclined to redo the top mounts and angle them a bit.

i was thinking of redoing the top mounts to about where the insulating tape is, that should bring it at a better angle, but how much travel of the shock should there be.

The shocks should be inline with a line following the axle's radius of movment, as the bottom is fixed it leaves the top to be corrected, the position looks OK but needs to be twisted where it is.

i will start by re drilling the holes and twisting the mount thanks peter
