Hi,does anybody know the history of this car as it is body no 2 acording to the ID tag under the bonnet ,it also says on the v5 that it is a eagle and was regersted in 1982 on a x plate.she is a basket case but complete with a good windscreen.I've just added her to my collection,that's four eagles now,I must be mad.

Are any of your cars on the road? And is this the red one that was on ebay?

I have one road legal at the moment,TJG628H,and yes it was the red one on eBay.

The date would certainly make it correct for body number 2. As a MkI it should have the seperate roll bar behind he door opening, front hinged side windows (I have a spare set) As you know as an old hand, there were a few issues with the MkI body and I hope not too many crop up on this car. At least it's not one that needs registration sorting. Wish you well and look fowards to seeing progress reports and photos. Peter

hi peter,what iam hoping for is that this is the car that was featured in various magazines in 1981/82.this car is a four stud as is the one in the early brochure ,the other car to feature in magazines was a five stud reg number TFG839X.
