Hi,ive just got myself another eagle ss off ebay and wonderd if anybody knows any of its history.TJG 628H,black,EAGLE SS on logbook.gunna get this one to look like the original brochure car hopefully.

Welcome aboard and as usual we are here to help in any way we can to get another SS (Or RV) on the road, so few left now.
Can't remember the car, is it the matt black Ford one?

it is matt black but its a vw car with eagle ss on the log book and its taxed and moted.

Well with proper name and a V5c you are in the money so to speak as you will soon be out of it as the project develops.

Hi that was my car. I sold it July time last year. The main differnence you will see is the windscreen. I couldnt get a new original design so I changed the surround for the flat glass. I took it to stone leigh last year 140 miles each way it drove fine at 70mph on the motorway. Let me know how the project comes along.If you need any more info or pictures email me at oml2@hotmail.co.uk. It passed the last MOT with only a few minor bits, many smiles as I drove it in. I had it inspected by the DVLA no probs, no comments about the flat glass  |

Hi Ollie,thanks for the info.My goal is to get the car to look like the original brochure car .I have got a as new windsceen for the car so iam afraid to say ive had to destroy all your handy work that was required to fit the flat screen.I will post some pics soon.If you have any pics or info my email address is pateve666@gmail.com.once again,thanks for the info.  |

Hi Peter,  for that late reply.I did put the car up for sale as it looked like i was never going to get a windscreen for it,thats all sorted now but has lead to me buying another ss,Q442 LFL.BUGGER. |
