It's that time of year again... Time to start planing shows etc.

Just got some info though from the show organiser, Grosvenor
so I thought that I would share it with you.

We should "weather permitting" (it seems that the wet weather has been causing damage to some of the pitches) have our normal site not too far from the main vehicle entrance 54A if you have last years plan to hand










You may have noticed that there is a great deal of difference in the price of admission in a kit car than in a tin top
if you are planing to tow your Eagle or trailer it, you will be asked to pay tin top prices please bear this in mind.

So, anyone going, preferably with an Eagle, or same as last year and both meet at the burger stand and save the bother of a stand/tent etc

How much is the admission, my cars in bits so its general admission for me
Price seems to go up every year, dont see many people attending this year either, expensive to get in and nobody has got any money.

Well if anyone is going please say so so there could be a meet up, I very much doubt there will be enough for a quorum let alone an AGM so we let things slide status quo I guess.

I am 90% sure that I will be camping for the whole weekend on the Eagle cars pitch as I have done for the last 5 years or so. Also Derrick and Scorpio will be camping there too. There were two or three RV's on the pitch last year. Unfortunately mine is still not quite ready but I still go to catch up with old friends and meet possible new members, oh, and maybe have a drink or two

Am i gonna have to put my pants on the outside of my trousers and be a superhero and bring my rv down to see if we cant stop the grass growing on at least one spot on our pitch? lol terry do u actually own an eagle or are u the wedding crasher equvilant in the kit car world?? lol Gotta say i dont like this paying to bring ur car to a show business!!!!! roll on newark and its free entry! long trip for me to get to stoneliegh so if its pissing it down then im in my local!! but no doors in rain is no fun at all! lol

Grommit old buddy, you get in free if your driving a kit car, just have to pay for camping (rip off).
But get there on sat after noon, we go into leamington spa to sample the local nightlife on sat night. I seem to remember its YOUR round next,,,,, LOL

A BIG thanks to all of you who took the time to visit the stand..
Due to other commitments on the site, Helen and I could not be present all weekend but two Road legal Eagles on the stand and one of them a SS first one since Chas's I beleive well done chaps.















There was also another RV on the site just over the road from the Jago's.

i know this is nothing to do with stoneleigh but I was at a local classic car show in Strathaven in Scotland today not too far from where I live and spotted this. hope I get the links right ... and I saw it drive out at the end of the show so its a runner... didnt get to talk to the owner though, wonder if he uses this site ...

Thats a nice tidy RV there. I don't think I have seen it on here but the owner and car are very welcome. Its a pity though that there are quite a few eagles out there who's owners are not interested in this club. But, each to their own as they say.

Have checked and the stand is booked for this years show and it is the same one as last year 54A
