Hi guys, is it possible to buy polybush sets for the rv or is it a mix and match of various early fords?
Cheers Jon

;)yep bout £100 for a full set of cortina poly bushes on eBay, there is a difference between Mk3 and 4\5 rear bushes you just have to order the right kit

TIP Getting the old bushes out by pressing or hammering can be a chore with smacked fingers etc, blood has been drawn on occasion. Using a drill bit between the center and outer remove the rubber. take the blade out of a hacksaw and pass through the remaining outer sleeve and connect to the saw frame, cut through the outer tube of the bush, remove saw. the outer part will now practically fall out. p.s. Several of us have Cortina void bush tools if you really want to borrow one.

I think the mk 3's had a smaller dia front anti roll bar, mk 4&5's larger. I,m pretty sure the main suspension bushes are the same. The manufacturers will supply you with this info anyway.

You'll probably have to measure the diameter of your anti-roll bar and try and find out the various Ford specifications. John

Right then, if i cant get terryrob to let me pick his brain on this and quite probably several other things as well, then i might not let him sit in my rv during the show!! lol And if thats the case then i may have to pounce on anybody turning up at the eagle stand so be warned!
