As the nights are drawing in, & we are all a bit bored, lets play a new game. This is aimed at those of us who remember a time before CDs.......most of us then ;D. This is a competition to descover who has the most embarrassing record collection. I will start . Does anyone else own: Sarah Brightman - "I Lost My Heart To a Starship Trooper" (I like that one) John Denver (God rest his soul) - "Annies Song" Baccarah - "Yes Sir I Can Boogie" Tribe of Toffs - "John Ketley is a Weatherman" Rolf Harris - "Two Little Boys" Pinky & Perky - "Yellow Submarine" (A particular favourite of mine) I had a massive crush on Gary Glitter when I was about 6 also. I so wish I had realised, at the time, that he probably felt the same way!

Well I can't top those, although I do have two Cliff Richard LPs and one Barry Manilow.
I did NOT buy the BM LP!

Glad to say I have not got, or ever had, any of the records mentioned so far. I can still remember my first record, a 45, Telstar!! After that my taste must have improved Beatles, Stones, Hendrix etc. Some of the most obscure were Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band, one LP was called Trout Mask Replica, pretty whacky stuff even in the 70's.

Slightly Off Topic (but not) Chris you've just reopened the memory bank!! Back in the 60's I was in a local band. One of our early gigs was support band to "Heinz and the Wildboys" at a pub in Haywards Heath Ok I'll Get Me Coat Now
