Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made the show a real weekend to remember!
Too many to list, but you all know who you are what the part you played in making the weekend unforgettable!
For those of you who missed it - yet again you missed out BIG TIME.
I don't think we will ever live this one down!
It is true to say we celebrated 25 years of Newark in style! The only Way EOC and Club Nova know how to do things - thats BIG When it comes to showing the Kit Car world how to party!
We were all famous on the Sunday and raised the Profile of the Club to the max!
Don't miss your copy of next months Kit Car Magazines!!!!!
Special thanks must go to:
ROY - What a Star! Amusing a club house full of excited kits with his balloon sculptures, I think you really made the weekend for a lot of kiddies there Roy, That was great, Many thanks for that. I'm sure the organizers owe you a big thank you too!

Sounds like it was a blast and no one could be more pleased to hear the club is going great at the shows. Must scan in and post the articule for us ex-pats to enjoy. I didn't get the flag to you in time due to a setback with the knee, (over did it at Stones I am told by a VERY cross surgeon) but making progress and back on schedual to be stickless in 3 weeks, (I hope). but I am on the case and I will get one on the way in a few weeks.

I dunno who they were. they did say, but it meant nothing to me. They were very nice though. They found it when they were clearing their stuff up. Apparently the pole was beyond repair

What a GREAT WEEKEND ;D Thanks to all ;D I haven't laughed that much in ages. The weather gods were also kind to me going home as it didn't start raining till 10 minutes after I got indoors Nice to hear that the Flag has been found. Shame about the pole, Although I have to say it must have been diliberate as the 3/4" tube would not have come out of the ground without assistance!!

Yeah. Really great time. I was helpless with laughter on the Dodgems. Kit Car mag reckon they 'll do 2 pages of pix, and might do half a page on my rear end. We'll see. Thanks to everyone who came. SamSS for bringing the tent. Roy for his notice board (minor logistical glitch meant there was nothing to put on it!! I'll get that right next time.) Jason for the Sombrero, everyone who brought fancy dress. Ben Nova for taking the tent. Special thanks to Cobra Chris and Roger P21 who gave invaluble help and advice on replacing my front wheel bearing which broke up en-route to the show. Another Eagle first: a public demonstration of running repairs in front of the club site using spares bought at the show. No doubt missed out a lot of things - probably just as well! Chaz.

Would have loved to be there with you, it is just that the Le Mans thing for me is getting to be a bit of a pilgrimage, you have to experience it to know why.

My first thought was Rupert too. I loved him when I was about 3 . Did Shrek really steal Ruperts trousers in real life then?

I'm with Ben on this one what a cracking weekend. First time for me at newark but not the last. The exhibition hall was a bit disapointing but on sunday there were a lot of clubs and car owners. Pity theres not a bit more fun from them. I was thinking of taking up street surfing but I want to keep the use of my legs !!!---- I'l leave that one to Kirk. Should be plenty of coverage in complete kit car for eagle & nova particularly the fancy dress pics, brilliant you lot. Hope the guy wiyh the chest pains is ok.

Hi Ben, Thanks for taking the tent. I'll arrange to pick it up when I know what my boss's travel plans are for me. He doesn't give me much notice but I might be in the working a bit in the Bristol area later in the Summer. Cheers, Chaz.
