Yeah - I have't tried to log on today, but I gather it is off line for a bit!
Prob a little internal club wrangling. Email Steve & give him some support. Being on a committee/responsible for anything is a thankless task.
Thank you is a nice word that people sometimes forget to use. It is easy to take comments personally, however much you try to rise above it - everyone is human

I have done that as Steve and I have a mutual interest over the years. I have written asking him to reconsider and offering support.
I think we might get an influx of his board members as last time and ALL are welcome..
Nova-International and Club Nova Avante. (which should be two totally separate but inter-cooperative and mutually supportive organizations, but.......) I am glad to say that apart from, or rather in spite of, recent goings on we are still pushing foward and getting better and bigger.

Well I tried but Steve is sticking to his guns and I for one (been there, done that) don't blame him, it's very easy for people to give out stress and abuse instead of help and encouragement and the end result is a nett loss for us all. Anyway, I hope the Nova etc people join us and its all is kept friendly, or else!!

Totally agree with Peters view that the two entities should be seperate but inter-cooporative, and there's no benefit in anyone from one group slagging off the other like what was happening. We 're all just barmy people who share a love for rather crazy, but strangell exotic, cars. And there arent many of us, so we need as man ways of communicating as possible I've set up a new message board for Nova enthusiasts at novaenthusiasts.proboards79.com/ and also have started setting up a web presence at www.novakitcars.com but this is just a holding page for the time being. Hopefully the concept of Nova International, bringing Nova nad derivative resources to builders and enthusiasts, will continue.

Following PMs within the committee it was decided to open our doors to the recently homeless Nova boys and galls and as such I have created a Nova-Plus board for them to enjoy. As secretary and with the full support of the committee executive, I state that, not withstanding we have had our own problems, we will NOT tolerate any of the derisive remarks or personality clashes that drove Steve to shut down the Nova-International site, possibly the best site for our type of car ever and a great loss to us all. All are welcome but please respect our board.
addendum: Events have somewhat overtaken us in that a couple of new boards have popped up for the Nova owners and fans so I guess we had better wish them all the best but the door is wide open to them here as well. Peter

Maybe if the right person asks in the right way, Steve might make available some of the contents of his old site for inclusion. with due acknowledgment, in the new site which would hurry things up and save a whole load of compiling. Maybe.
