Couldn't bend myself into a "Z" shape to get a really accurate measure, but it looks very close to 90 inches.

Or you can alter your shell to fit any standard separate chassis 4wd vehicle like I am doing to make it fit Frontera sport running gear and chassis.

The original RV (and SS) was made for the standard VW wheel base of 94.5"

thank you for the relies guys 94.5" is music to my ears I have a brand new unsed rv body shell stored out in the barn but its just a body shell no chassis no id, I am planning a twin track project I have been speaking with bigdee79 and will be buying his rv off him bit of a project with stuff missing but I have the bits he is missing so it suits my purpose will end up with a standard rv to factory spec correctly registered once I have stripped it and rebuilt it, now the spare shell I have : with that I am planning on fitting it to an existing 4x4 so its just a body swap and can run on the 4x4's registration plates why is 94.5" a good number ? because I have a Mercedes g wagon rolling chassis here that I took the body off as it was so rotten and its the same wheelbase looks like the shell will fit easy enough remote transfer box and difflock at both ends are plus points I also looked at Suzuki vitara rolling chassis and that has some merit to Jamman do you have any pics of your frontera chassis I looked at these but couldent find a swb with the engine I wanted thanks Again guys
