Hi,
I don't know if I should be leaving a message or not. I have already had a strange welcome, but I have been given an activation code, does that mean I am a mamber? I though the Electrics on my RV were complicated, but perhaps its all things Eagle.
Anyway, I just wanted a bit of help.
Can anyone tell me what windscreen wiper mechanism tended to be in used on the RVs. I don't want to try and source one that wont fit.
Thanks Mike

First a question does your RV have two wipers or three If two then www.s-v-c.co.uk/prod_wipers.htmlIf three then you will need to source another wheel box from a classic mini.

Hi, I think most used the lucas wiper motor with the tubes, rack and gearboxes as fitted to land rovers and minis. this actually wires up to cortina column stalks if you can find out the wire colour matches. You will have to cut or get new tubes to suit the spacing of the gear boxes. This system will be going into mine. Good luck

Welcome aboard, metalmickey As all above have commented its the Lucas system from the mini etc. I got some new boxes for mine at one of the shows, but you do have to check which ones you need because there are differently geared boxes and this results in a larger or smaller sweep. The supplier should help here. Re other comment, I guess thats because you have to register to post. The only reason this is now done is because 'guests' were posting 'unhelpful' comments and we had no control over who had access to the forum. You are now a proud forum user and this will allow access to the majority of the board. If you wish to join the Eagle Owners Club you can do so (for an annual fee, currently £15) which will give you access to the members section of the forum, an EOC keyring, discount with various suppliers and insurance comanies. It also provides funds towards maintenance of the site, hardware (tent for shelter, banners etc) for the club stand and other items. Cheers David

Thanks Dave and Co
I have 2 wipers and have also noticed that some park left and others right! Kit Cars! Who'd have one!
Mine is Lucas so Ill try the mini route.
There are some amazing rebuilds going on great to study the pictures and make my own comparisons.
I had to register to view, not just to leave a message. I guess its terminology, I'm better with a spanner!

Hi Mike and Welcome. The LH/RH park can easily be adjusted. There is a small plastic "ramp" clipped into the main drive wheel of the motor which activates the park switch. All you need to do is unclip it and move it to the hole 180 degrees opposite. The sweep is also adjustable (if needed) by changing the drive wheel. Different degree wheels are available from SVC at the link posted above. I have the wiring diagram/colour codes if you need them.
