Hi, I’ve got an Eagle SS kit car and I’ve been given 3 weeks of off the council to get rid of it (bastards). I have the v5 for it and it has a factory built chassis (Ford) not a VW. Money is really tight at the moment and I have been getting spare parts slowly to go for a complete over haul. The car is in a bit of a state but i believe it is worth fixing. I don't want it to get uplifted and scrapped as I love these cars. The car is in Scotland (Kilsyth)/. Please don't phone me, text and I’ll call you back my number is 07722774426. I’m only want to save the car, no cost free of charge please help me save it. I have already been offered £400 from a guy who wants to turn it into a trike but I would rather see it saved. Please someone text me I will call you back, just text ‘SS eagle’ so I know what its about.
(Please excuse the edit,Peter)

Well lets all hope it goes to a good home, with only 59 out of 345 Ford SSs known to have survived it is important we try and save as many as possible Thanks for all your efforts in trying to save this one. please PM me with V5 details so I can enter it on the register and of course if not already, please make new owner aware of the E.O.C. Peter Now, who is in Liverpool I wonder?

John, is the V5 a 'none Q' as in donor's number? I have a guy in Belgium needs a registered SS. Please PM or email me at info@eagleownersclub.org.uk with details, reg, colour, model, engine etc. so I can update the register. redundant question now.

Why is that now a redundant Q, Peter?

Because someone called, er, scooby, posted the DVLA details AFTER I had posted the Q question and before I had the reg number, bit of overlap, it is on a 'Q', so darn good to my Belgium, seems the Belgium people are even worse than the UK or even Spain when it comes to kit cars.

Just to let you Peter this SS will shortly be mine. Whoever turned up previously broke the passenger window, A door hinge. Then took the spares but left the car. Although it means major re jigging of storage I didnt want this car to be lost. It will for the foreseeable future just be sitting with a cover over it but better than it being scrapped.
