Hi, welcome. You say you have an Eagle SS, but it's only a rolling chassis. I assume the body came with it ? Is it rear engined, or front engined ? If it has a subfame at the front, it should be the front suspension from a Ford cortina mark 3 to 5, ( assume the subframe is at the front ? ) If so, the front springs may not be the cortina springs, just maybe something to hold it up at the moment. Send us some pics, as some one may be able to help. Pictures. Resize your pictures, I'ts easy in the free " Paint shop pro, 3.11 " ( I have the exe file if you wish ) Save pictures as extension jpg my eagle pics are between 330kb and 500 kb JPG ( jpeg ) are compressed files, so you will see 2 sizes. one on file manager shows the compressed size, lets say 330 kb, but when expanded, in a paint program, will ( may ) show it's uncompressed size, in my case a 500kb expands to 1.5 Mb. Resize pictures as well, as pics can be exceptionaluy large, so suggest 800 pixels wide, or if your paint program works in inches, divide pixels by 96, and you get inches. Will add pic for front subfame later, on here. Front suspension Ford. Looking from front of car ( Bad scan of bad photo ( 25 years ago )) Underside.[/i]

Welcome to the Eagle Owners Club forum, please fee free to visit the web site too, link at the top of the forum. Another Eagle SS surfaces from the pit of time, cheers[1]leaves us all wondering what though, I can deduce it is a Ford based one as VWs do not have sub-frames, what else do you have with it? Is the screen intact, VERY important at 400 quid a pop. What ever you need you will find it on here as we are mostly Eagle owners and been there, done that and got the EOC keyring. (wadaya mean you don't?) and being a Ford based SS you get the benefit of a knowledge base from SS and RV owners as the chassis etc is the same. Let me know the details so I can add it to our slowly growing data base and lets hope you can get another of these very rare cars (680+- made)on the road .
