Sometimes and I do mean sometimes, On the Eagle/Ford chassis there is an alloy plate on the front left member just above the suspension strut mounting, something like EI124, I would think it would be similar for the P21/25, I'm sure one of the P21 owners will put me right though . but other than that there isn't one, unless you have the original sales document, if not there is a blank one on the tech' page of the EOC web site. It is a re-mastered copy of mine from 1995.

Hi, thanks for that Peter, would you happen to know if the club has any original chassis plates left or if they ever had any copies made ?

The VIN plates are held by Helen. I had 50 made and I do not know how mny she has left in the 'shop?, best ask her in a PM. You will find her in 'members' link above.

Below are the two types I designed in compliance with the regs of the day, the simpler one is OK on all eagles but the other has the current requirement of axle weights etc on so less eyebrows would be raised. The EOC shop only sold the simpler one but there are dozens of firms that will make you a one off if Helen has sold out. They should be in alloy with the number stamped on but I used 3mm letraset on mine and clear coated it and no one has ever queried it. Attachments:

If you Google "VIN PLATES" there is a whole bunch of firms that will make them, it's funding one that will make a one off at a reasonable price, I had to have a batch made to get the price affordable to re-sell. You can even buy the kits and make your own, numbers an all.
