I have just joined the forum myself specifically to sell an Eagle RV. My father sadly passed away at the beginning of the year and Mum kindly signed over his Eagle RV to me. It has been in our family since it was first registered on the 6 August 1990. It is an original Rob Budd supplied Eagle kit which my father built many years ago. It was regularly seen at many of the Stonleigh, Newark, and Peterborough Shows. No mean feat considering we drove up from West Wales complete with camping equipment for the weekend. It is a white RV, correctly registered, on a Q plate. A new hood was fitted a few years ago and it was my fathers daily drive up to 2 years ago when he put it on SORN. It has the original white Wella wheels, side steps and bull bar. The gel coat is surprisingly good condition for its age with minimal crazing. The running gear is a 2.0L Pinto from a Mk5 Ford Cortina. The head has been rebuilt, (new cam, followers, valve stem oil seals, spray bar etc). It currently doesn't have a MOT due to being off the road and no time to sort it out. It is also fitted with a towing hitch. My late father and I are the only registered keepers in the last 23yrs!!! Please feel free to get in touch for further info if interested. I really want it to go to a good home :-) Cheers, Nicola

Hi Nicola, Welcome to the forum, I only wish it was under happier circumstances. Should sell easy enough as there are a couple of guys looking for a RV, (Not tyre kickers are you guys?) Have I got the RV on the register? link at top of home page. Anyway, happy to have you aboard and even without an Eagle you are not alone as there are a couple or three such members. Stick around please.

Happy new year to all forum members. Just to let you know that I have listed my Eagle RV on Ebay. Any interested members should type in Eagle RV Kit Car in the ebay search and the seller is dainic999. This is one Eagle not to be missed!!! Please give it a good home as it has a lot of sentimental value. Hope to meet one of you soon....... with cash :-)

That looks like a really solid project for some lucky person - a terrific car which genuinely needs little work.
Good luck, Nicola - I hope it goes to a good home, and you get what it's truly worth.
(I bet it'll be a real lurch for you to see it go, though...)

Thanks. I would love to keep it but I just dont have the time to enjoy it. I have too many hobbies and an NG TC V8 kit car in the garage. You could say i have kit cars in my blood. We have considered keeping it for the "saving" of 2 free entry passes to Stonleigh :-)

Wow - a V8 NG?! The TC model has the 'cycle' wings? (Any pics?!)
I sadly had to sell a TF Henley a few months back as an uncompleted project - I really regret not having to be able to get behind the wheel for a good run; they are very handsome cars.
What's the V8 like? A bit scary in such a light vehicle?!
