Hi eagleuk, welcome. bagged that user name, well done. Hope the RV is all you hope for, we are here to help with any advise anytime so just ask a way, no such thing as a stupid question. Photos are good when you get it, let me know details for the reg if not already on it or personal by PM if you want so I can keep things up to date.Peter

Hi Ed/peter,
I know, thought I done well on bagging the 'eagleuk' name. Didnt think it would have been available! Thanks for the offer of support, sure there shall be many questions that I end up firing your way. Forum looks great.
As soon as I take delivery I shall get some pictures posted up. Its coming from Norfolk and has a few hour trek down south and i will forward the reg to you to keep the database up to date. Got a smashing deal on it and cant wait to get it back to commence work (although from what i've seen it doesnt need much at all), soft top to be replaced, which comes with it, and a spray job as its still sitting in the original gel coat.
Ed, that would be a good conversion. Mine is currently running a 2.0ltr pinto with blue seal rebuilt approx 50miles ago on a manual box. I've looked in to buying a 3.0 v6 essex engine which appears to be very cheap and intend on doing a rebuild on it over the winter to drop it in early next year for the summer. The rebuild kits and parts seem to be massively cheap so think thats the route i'm going to go.
And in answer to your question, i'm from Romford, Essex.
