I drop into the site nearly every day.....drive the RV around locally over Dartmoor most weekends.....not doing anything to it at the moment. Just putting a few miles on her and enjoying the drive. Have to get the door hinges sorted and fit doors. A rainy w/e job. But at 22 degrees at mo.........just driving!!!!!!!!!

well a free meal, can't blame you for taking up that offer. Will the RV be at Newark next week? NO

I try and visit the forum every day and still have the RV. To be honest, I've not touched the old thing for 7 or 8 months. My Mustang takes priority if I have any spare time. I just fitted a new cruise control module, uprated O/D servo in the auto box, re-painted all the black body mouldings, fitted a Magnaflow cat back exhaust, a new battery and starter motor.
I did buy some windscreen de-mist vents for the RV a couple of weeks back and hope to do a bit more to it soon. Meantime, I'll be coming to Newark on the Sunday, but in the Mustang. I'll pop along to the club stand and have a chat same as last year.

Know what you mean John, With two classic cars and the wife's Corsa to attend to, not to mention I have to remove and rebuild the Suzuki Burgaman 400, I'm lucky to get an hour a week on Ukhozi, and then there are customers who INSIST I work on their bloody buggies. but I try.

Cars have a way of totally buggering up a day or more. This Wednesday call from wife at 17.:40 and some 60km away near Gibraltar, the Corsa was running badly and "shaking", (that IS tech talk for the wife), so drop everything, drive down to Gibraltar, look at Corsa, running on 2 1/2 cylinders, clean plugs, check leads, and now on 3 1/2, so leave Merc A170 for her to come home in and drive the Corsa home, now 22.00hrs. Next day drive 32 KM each way to get second hand ignition module I have in Ukhozi's workshop and fit with a new set of plugs, Great, better than ever, what do I get, "Dear, there is a clunking from the back", new exhaust hangers needed. never ends.

Nope, never does, having replaced the rear two hanger rubbers, madam informed me of a banging from under the car now. So this morning, jack up and stands and get under, the two CENTRE rubbers have had it too, so remove the new rear ones and fit to the middle, (BITCH of a job ), adjusting the exhaust pipe and back box whilst I'm under there. repair with some tape the two old rubbers and fit to the rear after moving silencer back 2" and twisting it into correct position, (easy to change tomorrow ). I arrived home halfway through the F1 filthy. happy Sunday and I wanted to go to my workshop and play with Ukhozi

Of 332 people e-mailed THREE responded plus two e-mails. Peter, scooby, trike, Gary, readingeaglerv, derekkitcar, maverick, davetrials, andyrvmac, could be a typical day with no one doing anything and no one saying anything. Only two comments on the new V5 forum which I think is now pretty cool.

A month gone with the new Proboards V5 and I have to say a huge thank you to the members who have been on since, especially those who have come back on and contributed because without your posts it's just dead, it really has been great to see the board alive again and everyone, (nearly) has taken to the new forum with only a couple of (positive) suggestions. A BIG thank you everyone concerned and I'm sure we will continue to improve this year and have a bumper crop at shows next season.

Dan over at Euro-Nova is currently building a new forum as he keeps getting hacked on the current one so keep an eye out for the new look. I'm glad we don't have such problems with Proboards, or maybe we have just been lucky. readingeaglerv, Gary, derekkitcar, maverick, homerramone, trike, taffyr32 Have all been on in the last 24 hours and apart from Gary's contribution to the word game, not a syllable from anyone else, what's up Doc? Nothing going on? I am sure some of you must have done something in the last weeks, doesn't matter how trivial it may seem we like to know you are still out there and "doing a bit more", as I say.

Anyone else having problems typing into the posts? I can’t do it but can place smilies, ‘pasts’ from Word but can’t write or edit. I have written to the Proboards guys and await their answer. Peter

Tried in Chrome and it's OK, seems it must be this new IE 11 crap, uninstall coming up. Uninstalled IE11 and all OK now
