On saturday morning my old RV goes for its mot for the first time for about 13-14 years. Theres a lot of cosmetics still to do but hopefully I can get it back on the road again. Its going to an mot centre where Don (scorpio) works and we should be able to do any adjustments if needed. I then have 2 weeks to run it before stoneleigh. Fingers crossed ;D

Well here it is, now the shakedown runs begin. I have to say a massive thank you to Don for trailoring my rv to and back from his MOT station and of course for testing it too. No real problems there and I have a pass.

as in a previous post can we have a list of all eagles that we know of.... reg, chassis no,colour and spec. whether its on road, sorned or in a field prior to sorn, lets start behaving like a club that wishes to preserve the marque. Ps try googling 'THE EAGLE OWNERS CLUB' ---- see for yourself where you end up www.audiografix.co.uk/test/eoc/index.htmlPPS one for terry....... posted by you 11 months ago Re: i dreamed a dream of stoneleigh « Reply #8 on May 2, 2011, 10:47pm » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes it was a poor turnout, my car is a month or two from being roadworthy yet. But, I turn up and hope that other members will turn up and meet each other with or without cars. 10 months later your almost there LOL

You need to click on eaglecarclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1330A lot of work went into this so I hope people read it, I would like to add more but my info seems to have dried up to a trickle or "last known" is many years out of date I would also like to have it as a sticky but as admin rights to the forum seem to have been lost I can't do it. which as club webmaster is a bit frustrating. The 'Test' page is clean in informative, a very similar thing was tried some 7 years ago but failed to get the result we had hoped for, current one is up to date (I hope) and if not I would be pleased to alter it so it is, just need feedback. Anyone wishing to take on the job as webmaster is welcome subject to approval, one less job for me to do but there has to be the ability and commitment, all to often one has to step in to rescue something that has been dropped by someone who is over committed or lost interest. Now would be the time as Stoneliegh is a-coming and the AGM should take place.

mmmm, so that's what an MOT cert. looks like!!! Still trying to get my light/indicator stalk sorted. Main beam light flashes for the indicators and ign. light comes on for main beam...................................I'll get there! Serves me right coupling a cortina wiring loom to an escort indicator stalk! But good to see another on the road, well done.

The Eagle Owners Club .co.uk was nothing to do with the eagleownersclub.org.uk and was an attempt to better the EOC official site, we tried to combine the two but there was so much data and photos it was impossible to merge so it died from lack of continued commitment from the designer. Shame really, a lot of stuff got lost too. Nova had a simular problem and Dan had to build it up from scratch again.
