Hi everyone, I would love to try and track down my old RV, if you look at the early shows from Donnington you will see this pic and others of him (below) The reg was Q32 REU and it was sold in Bradford 7/8 year ago - or somthing like that - It had two distinctive Eagles on each side of the bonnet (to cover up the cracks) and a black leather dash/seats etc. If you bought this car or know where it is now, please drop me a not, I would love to see what its like now

I have just sent you a message through E-bay about this! Thank you so much for getting in touch.
Unfortunatly you are too far away and I have already bought a new RV because I missed this so much. Whats amazing is that I am pretty sure I bought this RV originally from Surrey and shipped it to West Yorkshire, now its worked its way all the way back down again!
So happy to see its still alive, I really hope it goes to someone who will get it back on the road and love it as much as I did, this was my first car when I was 17!
I was curious about the wheels, I would love some of these for my new jeep but I dont know what type they are, do they have a manufacturers name on them at all?

Hi, Thanks again for getting back to me, I cant in all honesty remeber exactly what I sold it for but I think it was around the £900-£1000 mark. When I sold it the soft hood was nearly new and it had a hardtop too, and it was driving perfectly, but it was nearly 10 years ago It has changed quite considerably since I owned it but I still recongnise bits of it that i did and can't believe its still got the same tires on it! I saw your add about the wiring loom, its was a awful mess wasnt it, by the time I bought the jeep it had already been re-wired 3 times with 3 seperate wiring looms, thats just the joys of a second hand kit car I suppose. Shame the big leather seats have gone too, I really liked them Well good luck with the sale my friend, thank you for taking the time to get in touch its really appreciated. Be sure to point the winning bidder at the site so we can stay in touch and I might get to see the old girl again at a show! Cheers

Wheels are the same as on my SS and are Moonshine Modulars. I bought mine from Midland wheel supplies (back in 1996) but they are still a standard wheel and available from Heratige VW This just a sample, they do a whole range, mainly in 15" which is what I have in 8" front and 10" rear. Gone up a bit since 1996 when I paid about £35 each tinyurl.com/brhoqv8
