My apologies if this question has already been asked. does anyone know how many SS's were produced in total ?. just curious, I realise that quite a few will be gone now or were never registered properly. fortunately mines seems to be ok. its got a Q plate and it says EAGLE on the V5 ...
thanks

I recently counted as images and data on the internet and I counted 16 or 17 Ford Eagle ss. Ford, no beatle!

When Reg Budd delivered my SS in 1995 he said there had been about 340 each of VW and Ford built. As production had all but ceased at that time I should think that could be the total. As far as SSs on the road, no more that a dozen with a possible ten or so abroad and no more than 20 in rebuild and off the road. so I estimate surviving SSs to be no more than 42 to 45

Just been contacted through Facebook by someone from South Africa who I believe has an SS. I've pointed him in the direction of the website :-)

Current registry says a total of 84 SSs have been listed but sadly not all are still around. The one in Australia owned by Joe Bonello is doomed too unless someone from the Eureka club can get a finger out and get passed his laid back attitude to the car, get a reply to e-mails and rescue it.
