I will be donating small trophies to be handed to the winners of Best Eagle, at Newark 2022 next weekend ( 23 / 24 July )
Very small "Token" trophies, in appreciation, nothing fancy.
There may be a delay in getting the trophies, as they have to be made, and engraved, and only 4 working days to complete. So if not ready in time, I'll try and get a paper certificate for the winners to take home.
They should have a representation of the cars mounted on, but the Eagle SS is proving difficult, so a similar one will be substituted.
If there is only one model in attendance in class 1 + 2, and its not in a good state, you could win by default.
Categories are : - ( Club members only )
1) Best Eagle SS
2) Best Eagle R.V.
3) Longest distance travelled in an Eagle SS or RV..
Including myself, we will have had 3 years to get cars road worthy ( from Stoneleigh 2020 to stoneleigh 2023 so please get your fingers out, and if not for Newark, then for Stonleigh 2023. -- or else...
Regards Graham Wood ( Ram )

The following are replies from another web site

Thanks Graham, I'm sure it's much appreciated by the club members and winners 😁
PETER Good one. I hope 2+2s, P21/25 or a Henderson don't want a pot too.
GRAHAM WOOD Hope so too, But, 2+2s is a convertable SS:: A P21 / 25 is a Dutton Phaeton, sold through Eagle:: And has anyone seen a Henderson ? I have never seen a Henderson, ever; and do they exist, so no trophies for above, AND not enough eagle members to facilitate the cash flow for any more than 2 "Token" Trophies.......... ! will be copying this thread to the eagle forum, as that's where this information should also be.

Did you like the 60's wallpapaper I wrapped the box in ? Much thicker than brown paper, and smells nice too.

I liked the wrapping paper so much that it's now on my wall.
