I have recently purchased an Eagle RV, it had no engine or gearbox when I bought it and I am keeping the body and roll hoop.
The rest of the vehicle is available whole or I am prepared to sell parts off it.
The chassis number is visible, it came with no paperwork and the number plates had been removed.
I have not removed the body yet, the wheels are nice and the tyres are relatively new.

YOUR Mk5 Cortina x 4 Polished Weller 14" Wheels with decent matching tyres
Any chance of a pic' ?
I just need a set of wheels and tyres while mine get blasted, basic paint, then with fancy bits painted on, that means 3 companies to take them to, as those 3 are the only ones I can trust. And my tyres are 33 years old, so much expence needed there. I can pirouette my car as the wheels sit on those 4 wheeled car coasters ( x 4 ) - fuel tank leaks, and rear brakes off, so need spare set of wheels. Will only take me 2 hours to get to Derby. ( less than to Stoneleigh kit car show ).
Look forward to a picture.

I am a new forum member and can't PM members. The wheels appear rusty but its not rust its a really stubborn residue, after about half an hour of metal polishing on this wheel 90% of the dirt has comes off where I polished it by hand. Its difficult to get in the small nooks they'd probably be better off chemically cleaned or maybe some aggressive wheel polish spray. Karl. Attachments:

Hi, yes interested in your wheels and tyres
But , that IS rust, that's why you can't get rid of it, and it's spread under the chrome, ( that's what it does ) and will need de-chroming, and sand blasting, and painting. i.ve been around chrome items long enough ( 30+ years ). it's beyond repair rust, ( if you want chrome wheels )
However, let me know how much you will accept, and are there any centre caps ( they push through from behind )
Enlarged view of wheel attached, and an email address you can contact me on
Regards .

Good news you sold your items, I'm not sure why you are not allowed to PM. I'm assuming you have an account as you don't appear as a guest. If you are logged in it should work. I'l send you a PM now, see if you can reply.
