I am sure what you are contemplating is illegal, called 'ringing', you would have to change the RV's chassis number etc to match the log book. Not that there would be one spare anyway.
Best to go the other, legal, route and apply for a duplicate log book for the RV I assume you have..

So that's a no from you then..... anybody else, I've bought a eagle rv cheap for that reason no log book or vin number, blank canvas really....hence why I'm asking is anyone selling one and a bonus for me if its tax exempt haha

If you have the reg number, someone should have it, apply for a duplicate.if nothing at all you will need a test, an RV will pass, one has already, just need to fill in the space between bumper and mudguard if I remember.

If you have the chassis number then DVLA can identify it, should be able to register it then.

If you have the registration number but no chassis number you can apply to the DVLA for an emergency chassis number. The number they issue starts EN to indicate its an emergency number.I've needed to get one on a vespa scooter when it had a new frame installed and the repaired did not transfer the original frame number over.
