I am all in a dither now, Sealpup asked first, then Pedro and now George. I know we all take a while to answer at times. So I will put it to all of you, who is realistically likely to get the hood made and passed on first?

That is a good question, of course sealpup should be offered it first, I only asked in case he didn't want it as I thought he sold his RV (but I may be wrong) I was taking it abroad next time I go as I can get one made up for probably half the price, but due to current restrictions who knows when that will be 😁😁 Regards Peter

Hi wiggy I am currently using my RV I was hoping to be getting one made as soon as possible to keep me out the rain haha but no pressure on who can have it first as long as people won't be putting it in the back of the shed for 6 months haha I am happy to collect if posting is a problem thanks

It might also be cheaper to get more than one roof made rather than just the one

Thought I had replied to this but I might not have hit the reply button. I will see if we hear from Sealpup and if nothing by the new year, I will send it on to George first, as he is using an RV on the road. He can then pass it on or become a dealer in soft tops. I will take photos and measurements first and get those passed on to Peter, if they are of any use?

Thanks would be great thanks much appreciated I wasn't planning on selling the soft tops for profit but I'm thinking if I was to ask for a few soft tops to be made there may be a discount rather than just one being made thanks wiggy have a great new year I'll hopefully get a few dry sunny days to blast about

Just a note of caution regarding the soft tops. It's not a case of "One size fits all". Over the years, the RV came with different width windscreen frames. I sold a hood to a member on here and it was around four inches too narrow for his car, although it fitted mine perfectly.

Not so much a matter of when but where, The RV was made by a few firms as well as Eagle there was Pilgrim and a couple of others and different screen were used.

Somebody here may be able to identify your car by the chassis number, but not sure that will help. It's a bit of a lottery, I think.

I may be wrong, quite often am, but I think Pilgrim made the one with the tail gate and Eagle RVs didn't have one. Not sure if Dutton made some as it was Tim Dutton who started Eagle Cars in 1981 with Allen Breeze.

Mine doesn't have the rear door so I'm assuming it's an eagle rv and that's what my log book says but I suppose that we will never officially know who made the kit

My Eagle RV8 was bought from Rob Budd at Eagle Cars. It was the first one made with a Tailgate. There are 2 different screen sizes. I have 2 Brand new Hoods bought years ago a d stored in my garage. Sadly, due to illness,I cannot get to them to measure them. I've no idea what size they are as they are both still in their packaging. I also have the sticks but they have light rust due to being supplied unpainted. Maybe I can get to thrse Hoods if my health improves in the future.

Stop messing about and get well, I know it gets harder as we get older and older and pop, but keep taking the drugs and grind on. I got so many new bits I crackle when I walsk.

Hi Cactus, I am very interested in one of your hoods, when you are able to dig them out, of course hoping your health to get better first, thx
