Hi Steve. Just seen an RV body for sale on eBay. If you search jeep eagle body you will find it. Worth asking them if they have one. What has happened to yours, where are you in the country? Could spare one for a while!!! wiggy

Hi Wiggy, thanks for the info... unfortunately there isn't a roll bar with it. The original roll bar on mine was like a full cage with bars around the sides but was poor quality, small diameter tubing and severely restricted entry and exit. I realise that the RV can be run without a roll bar but I wanted to strengthen the screen surround with struts to the bar and modify the roof to fit correctly with the bar in place as it has a sun roof fitted. Had the car on the drive for some years now collecting moss but really need to get on with it now. Thanks for your loan offer but I really need to get one sorted. Actually... thinking about it, if yours was the type I was after, I could get one made to the same spec using it as a pattern! I live in Stone Staffordshire. Steve.

Hi Steve I am happy with you taking it and using it as a template. I am not to far away in Tywyn, well not as far as things could be. Let me know what you think. What RV do you have? Doors, colour, tailgate, cortina running gear etc.? Just nosey...haha

Axeman, please don't be tempted to run without one, as bad as it is its better than nothing. Also you are right in that the screen surround needs support so without a hard top bolted to it you need bars from the roll bar to it. That screen surround is only bolted to fibreglass. If you make one it will more than like be better than the original.

Thanks Wiggy, just a bit far for me though at the moment. My RV has hard doors with the sliding windows(and moss!). 2.1 Diesel engine which hasn't been run for years... but did run, had to take the original fuel tank off etc as it had been used with red diesel and got a replacement nylon marine tank ready to go on. Custom dash(not fitted, Bull bars(not fitted) and four flat tyres! Just a thought, will Ford Focus 4 stud wheels fit on? I realise the offset will be wrong but would they fit to allow me to move it around? Steve.

The stud pattern will be correct (4 x 108), but the centre bore may (or may not) be a little different. Worth a try, though.
