You only need to click and hold on the photo on your PC and drag it onto the download page to download. Then you can open from your 'user name' and select view uploads or albums (if you have created any). Click on the blue square 'Share Codes' on the photo you want to copy and it will take you to 'Sharing codes' for that picture, Go to the top "Direct URL" and click on the icon on the right, it will auto copy the URL.
In your post all you need to do is at the appropriate place select the 'insert image' icon, (7th from the right on the tool bar). The "insert image" box will appear, Right click over the blue 'HTTP://' and 'paste', the URL will appear. Job done.
You can select ALL your photos in your Photobucket albums and download to your PC, (in a 'new folder) and then upload to a new album in VGY. Then delete the 'new folder' on your PC to save space and two fingers to Photobucket
So here is my attempt at instructions for sharing pictures via vyg.me
To start you will need an account on vyg.me ,its free so go do that first.
These instructions are via my android phone, things may look a bit different on a computer.
On the vyg.me main page, you will see an image that says Tap here to select files. Click on that, your phone should now open up a file explorer. Navigate to the files you want to share. On android the usual place is Photos, for pictures that you have taken with the phones camera.
Once you have selected the file to upload, the upload will begin and you will be taken to a different page.
Now if you scroll down the page a bit, you will see a list of links. You want to copy the BB coded link. Click the button next to the link to copy it.
Now come back to this website, probably best to have it open in another tab. Paste the link into your forum post.
Best practice is to paste your link in on a new line. This will leave a bit of space between your text and pictures. Once you finish your forum post and press post, you should see you pictures.
Each picture requires its own link, so just paste the link in for every picture you want to share.
If you exit vyg.me, you can get back to your uploads by clicking the button at the top of the page with the three lines. Then click your username, My uploads.
You will now see a list of your uploads. If you want to get to the links via your phone, click on the picture you want to share. This will now open up full screen. Now press the back button in your browser. You will now see little icons on the picture you selected. Click on the little blue symbol next to the pencil </>. This will open up the list of links again, remember you want the BB coded link.
I hope this is clear and easy to follow. Now cant wait to see your build pictures!
