Hi all Having sold my SS in 2011 I am now in need of a new project, and I thought about the MkIV SS based on a Toyota MR2. I remember seeing a picture of this ages ago but now cant find any trace. Does any one have photos of what it would have looked like? 2011, all road legal, was my daily ride to work!

I think if you look on Wikipedia there is a picture of it, it is yellow. I spoke to tim of teac sportscars who developed it and then sold the project to someone in northern Ireland. But no one seems to know any more about it.

The Eagle SSR as it was called was a progression from the 2006 prototype seen at Stoneleigh that year and used a space frame chassis and MR2 running gear but sadly no takers so Tim sold it on Ebay to a guy from Wexford N. Ireland, it was never a viable project due to the drop in kit cars generally. There have been many variations on the SS including a mid engine Lancia Delta with clamshell rear end, Ford Sierra 4x4. etc but none survive as far as I know.

There is a guy on the euro-nova forum doing a MR2/Nova though, but using the whole MR2 chassis with wishbone conversion up front.
