so the story goes on, I was looking for a chassis or a complete eagle ss on Ford basis that was Street legal for the Belgian roads, as Peter recommended me on the forum I went searching among the older messages and landed on tims Blue SS, after some email back and forth, and a few problems with emails that do not come through, I got an email from Tim that he wanted to sell the Eagle SS to me
When I got the first pictures of Tim suddenly my heart beat faster, this was a really nice project. As Tim himself described it is not a quick project, but one that was complete, and the most important for me, with all the correct paperwork to get the first Eagle SS legale on the road in Belgium.
At first I thought it was too good to be true, but, after a long journey of nearly 500 miles we saw the Eagle SS saw standing in the driveway of Tim, both I and my wife fell in love, right a way.
We were pleasantly surprised by the warm way how Tim and his parents received us , as if we are each other had known for years, the mother of Tim went immediately make coffee for guests, and after some acquaintance it was time to look at the Eagle and the spare parts.
Tim had already let me know that over the 7 years he had the Eagle SS with him he collected some parts needed for the restauration, and that if I wanted he would let them to me for a very small price.
So after having first the Eagle admired it went toward the room where everything was stored and suddenly it wass Christmas, boxes copletely filled with all the necessary materials kept coming lamps rear lights seats mechanical parts, you name it, it was there .
We needed 2 full hours to load all the things in to the van, and he was full.
After we said goodbye, and I promised him to keep informed, it went back toward the house, after the necessary traffic misery we arrived after a long day of nearly driving 1000 miles home, tired but very happy.
So this is the beging of what is probably going to be a long story of the first restauration off a Eagle SS in Belgium.
