Don't know if anyone on here has heard, but grom30 was at Newark kit car show this weekend and ended up in A/E after the windscreen on his RV came out onto him whilst he was travelling home up the A1, As far as I know he is fine but has sereval cut etc... I wish Grom30 a speedy recovery and warn others to check their windscreen especialy if the RV is to be used at speed Thanks to terryrob for trhe updates.

Hi Jon, good to see it hasn't affected your sense of humour !, I just dread to think how much worse it could have been. It was a great weekend till that happened. I will be making some mods to my windscreen surround as a precaution and would advise anyone else with a RV to consider this also, although I have previously driven mine at 80+ with no problem. Thanks to Gary for posting pics. And to Jon, Jeff, Steve for displaying their cars. To anyone who couldn't make it you missed a great weekend.

Well done lads..........looks like a great weekend...decent weather makes a huge difference also. Newark still to far for me to travel from Inverness despite the invite from Complete Kit Car for the Pelland Rembrandt Register to make a guest appearance.
One day maybe we'll see my RV pull in with one of the Pellands on a trailer behind..........I've recently bought a Jago Jeep project aswell so it'll be difficult to know where to park.
That windscreen story is a real horror and the sort of freak occurrence that gives all amateur built cars a bad rep. Any idea of the cause? Speedy recovery Jon!!

Shouldn't be a TOO big a problem at Newark as the Eagle and Jago stands are beside each other (I can't understand how that happens ;D) If you put the Pelland with CKC it will all be fine. CKC always join us at the Jago village for their breakfast on the Sunday

OOH.... out of hours. A large world wide logistics company whom we manage computer systems for, had performance issues and we had to role swap them back onto their main production system. I had to run with the project . I would have sooner been looking at the scenery sat in the car far pretty than an office wall in the middle of the night.
